Episode 12: Big Events


This week, there was the 4th of July, the start of Tour De Fleece, and a wild dust storm that took over phoenix. Not to mention tons of spinning!!!

Zig and Zag Lace Scarf by Jocelyn Prasad- I am using Ethereal Fibers SW Meino sock yarn in the "Wicked" colorway and a US size 5/3.75 mm needles.

"Sage" Merino Blend from A Good Yarn/ Fiber Creek I got 190yrds. of a 2-ply DK weight from 4ozs. this was my first ply!
     With this I plan to make the Mushroom Cap for my husband.

"Teal Skies"- Merino SW / Alpaca blend from Gail at Alpaca And Ewe  I got 90 yrds. of a chunky weight single ply from approx. 4 oz!

Episode 10: Father's Day!


This week I finally completed my first knitting project! I also managed to get some sewing done for the shop!

Not-So Colorful Dollies- no love this week, but almost done with last one. Using my first handspun yarn!


KNITTING-

          WIP-

Zig And Zag Lace Scarf- by Jocelyn Prasad, using a SW Merino sock yarn from Ethereal Fibers in the "Wicked" colorway, and a US size 5/ 3.75mm needles. Just about through the 3rd repeat!

Stockinette Mitts- by Sandy Satre using Yarn Bee Andes Alpaca in the "Arabesque" colorway, and US size 7/ 4.5mm DPNs. Just about ready to start the thumb on the first one!

Episode 9: Epic Failsauce

The title about sums up the week, I had to redo majority of knitting projects, finished some painting and crochet, while dealing with fails all along the way, including uploading the episode...lol took a couple trys but here it is!
