Mobius Shoulderette- using Naturally Caron Country in the Peacock colorway and US size 8/5 mm needle

10 in 2010 Shawlette- by Janine Le Cras. I am using Naturally Caron Country in the Charcoal colorway and the edging will be done in the Claret colorway. I am using US size 6/4 mm circs.

Episode 6: I'll get you my pretty!


This episode, I show my progress with learning knitting, a few crochet projects, and my Etsy store update!


SHOW NOTES:


WIP:

Malabrigo Tank Top- using Malabrigo Rios in the Cumparista colorway, and a US size 9/5.5 mm hook, I will post the pattern as soon as I'm done!

Mobius Shoulderette- using Naturally Caron Country in the Peacock colorway and a US size 8/5 mm needle



FINISHED OBJECTS:

Ruby Slippers- used Naturally Caron Country in the Claret colorway and a US size 8/5mm hook

Summer Tank- used Lion Brand Natures Choice Organic Cotton in the Strawberry colorway.


SPINNING:

I managed to finish the last of the 4 ozs. of Black and Creamy White fiber from FiberstoYarns

Can I add some extra twist after the fact?

Episode 5: Hi my name is Katie, and I'm an addict...


This week I've got some crochet, some sewing and a new addiction to spinning!

WIP:

Socks for my Husband by Jeanmarie DiTaranto - I'm using Caron Simply Soft in the Heather Grey colorway and it's being worked on a US size 3/3.25mm hook

Malabrigo Tank Top - is in the Cumparista colorway and is being worked on a US size 9/5.5mm hook

Little Gadabout Bag by Dot Matthews -  I'm using Loops and Threads Charisma in the Holiday colorway and a Us size 9/5.5mm hook



FINISHED OBJECTS:

Nubby Brim Cloche by Eileen Tepper - I used Berrnat Chunky in the black colorway and it was worked on a US size 10/6mm hook

Felted Wallet- I did not use a pattern for this. I used Stitch Nation Alpaca Love in the ruby colorway.



ON MY SPINDLE:

Black and Creamy White BFL from Fibers To Yarns

I should have the last bit of it spun up sometime in the next couple days, I love it!!!



SEWING FUN:

This week I managed to make an adorable project bag and a little notions bag!

Chutes and Ladders Washcloth Pattern

Materials Needed:

1 skein 4-ply worsted cotton yarn ( I used Lily n Cream)

Us size 8 / 5 mm hook


Abbreviations Used:

Sc- single crochet

Dc- double crochet

Sk- skip

Ch- chain

FPSC- front post single crochet

Yo- yarn over


Row 1- Ch 31

R2- Ch 1 Sc in the second sc from the hook,
    Sc in each Sc across to end of row (turn)

R3- Ch 1 Sc in each Sc across to the end of row (turn)

R4- Ch 1 Sc in each Sc across to the end of row (turn)

R5- Ch 3, Sk 2 Sc, Ch 2, FPSC in 3rd Sc, *Ch 2 Sk 2 Sc, FPSC in 3rd Sc *
    Repeat to end of row (turn)

R6- Ch 1 Sc in each Sc across to the end of row (turn)

R7- Ch 1 *Sc in only the back loop of 1st Sc* Repeat to end
    of row (turn)

R8-9- Repeat R7

R10- Ch 1 Sc in each Sc accross to the end of row (turn)

R11- Ch 3 (counts as 1 Dc), *Sk 1 Sc, Dc in next 3 Sc, yo, insert
     hook from front to back into skipped Sc before the 3 Dc group,
     pull loop up the the height of the 3 Dc group, yo, and complete
